WORSHIP
Our worship service each week blends ancient and modern elements, with a mix of traditional and contemporary liturgy and music. You'll see all kinds of attire, including dresses, t-shirts, sport coats and jeans. The service lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.
Each week, we relive the Good News of Jesus through our worship service: God calls us to worship him, then we sing about how awesome he is. We hear a reading of his commandments, then confess our need for forgiveness and change. We receive the Good News from God's word that Jesus came to live and die in our place, declaring us righteous through faith, and that he rose from the dead to give us hope for a future when everything will be made new and right, including us. We look together at a passage from the Bible for about half an hour, then we taste and see God's goodness toward us in Christ as we celebrate the Lord's Supper. We trust that God will make us more like Jesus little by little as we follow him together.
